TICKET SALES INFORMATION SYSTEM CAR AT PO. INTRA

Background Issues
Nowadays the development of technology is increasingly well. So, it is impact to all of human life aspects too. Mostly the activities of buying and selling goods or services is growing rapidly toward an online system. That’s why the researcher is trying to take the advantage of these technology developments in the field of online ticket sales system on land transport, in this case the researcher takes a sample PO. INTRA.

Problem Formulation
Now, the system of ticket sales in PO.INTRA is still manually. Prospective passengers still have to come and queue to get tickets at the counter where the ticket sales. And not a few people who had to queue jostling behalf of the ticket.

Purpose
To facilitate prospective buyers in the ticket purchasing process.

Benefit
Buyers no longer need to queue if they want to buy tickets.

Limitations
Purchase tickets majoring in Medan - Siantar and Medan - Parapat.

Method
The method applied in this research is the method of observation and interview.
  •  Visit to PO. INTRA Medan-Siantar office in Medan.
     Direct visit will make we know what passangers need in that time.
  • Interviews the owner of the company and passengers of PO. INTRA.
     Interview done to obtain more accurate and detailed information.
